Transit Van Side Door Not Locking

I have two fob but none worked if i try to open the back doors or reset the central locking by turning the the key on off 8 times in 10.

Hi i have a ford transit lwb 2009 the problem is the side door will not lock with central locking key fob but front and rear tail doors do so was advise that the side door locking mechanism at fault. However you can still set off the alarm while attempting to open the power. 2002 ford explorer drivers side door lock rear. I m pretty sure it s not a mechanical issue unless a sensor has just failed anyone have any.
