If you do not remove the power door lock fuse the central locking system will attempt to lock the door as you turn the key to depress the active retainer which will make it very difficult to remove the lock. I had to take out the lock to repair and decided to show whats happening when rotary knob gets stuck. Sliding door lock not opening. In my case i could have probably unhooked the yellow. Removed mechanism and fitted new mechanism to side door still wont lock have you any advice wiring seems ok.
