Trane Gas Furnace Will Not Ignite

When the display screen of the thermostat is blank or the unit has no power to it double check the circuit breaker. Under modern building codes a furnace must be on its own circuit. If the air in your system is not flowing it cannot produce the required gas air mixture and your home heating system will not ignite because of it. A faulty or dirty ignition or sensor is a relatively easy fix so follow these steps and you may be able to solve the problem yourself.
